TE has recently developed new advanced ceramic processing techniques and proprietary formulations for the manufacture of high-stability electro-ceramic thermistor materials. These materials are now used in a select range of DO-35 thermistor sensor components. The newly developed high-density thermistor chip is hermetically sealed in a glass (DO-35 diode style) package to provide protection where high humidity is present and long-term performance is required.
